Ben & Jen’s Family Maternity Photos

I was very happy when Ben & Jen asked me to photograph their family again. Ben & Jen are expecting twins so I was pretty excited to get some awesome big belly photos. Their first born, Owen, is a real charmer and very photogenic. A quick browse through pinterest right before the shoot gave me some fun creative ideas for the photo session. We were lucky with good weather on a warm sunny day at Corbould Park in Chilliwack.

The Friesen Family at Harrison Lake

I few weekends ago I was invited to photograph Gary’s family at Harrison Lake. It was Gary and Marilyn’s 40th wedding anniversary and they wanted to mark the occasion with some family portraits. The weather was crazy and random that day, raining one minute and bright sunshine the next. We were very lucky with our timing for the photo session as we were finished with the shoot just as the rain started up again. We even managed to get a faint rainbow from across the lake in a few of the photos.

Arkesteyn-Vogler Family Photography

During the Christmas holidays I had the pleasure of photographing Erin and her family. We took the family photos at Ellwood Park in Abbotsford. It was one of those dark rainy winter days, but we chose the right location with lots of covered areas to keep us all dry. Erin’s large family was a pleasure to work with.

Harrison Resort Family Photography

A few days after Christmas I was asked to take some family photos for Lynn and her family at the Harrison Resort Hotel. We started with taking some photos inside the hotel but the light was not great and there were quite a few guests walking through our shots. So we decided to brave the chilly wet weather and sneak a few photos outside the back of the hotel near the swimming pools. I enjoyed working with Lynn and her family and was honoured that they would take a break from their christmas vacation for a few photos by Kelly Corbett Photography.

Lissa & Brian’s Family Photographs

Last weekend I photographed Lissa and Brian and their beautiful new daughter Kahlan. Kahlan was a wonderful little baby to photograph and fussed very little when we continued to change her position after she had just gotten comfortable. Lissa and Brian are previous wedding clients of mine and I was very happy when they contacted me asking if I would take photos of their new family. This is my third set of wedding clients with new babies that I have been asked to photograph in the last couple of months. It is so wonderful to reconnect and receive returning business.

Fall Fun Family Photos

This week I did the annual family photo shoot for my close friend Lindsay. I was pretty excited to make use of all the fresh fall leaves on the ground. We chose a cold windy day for the photo session, but my clients were real troopers and we managed to get some cute images.

Julia & Andy Family Photos

Last weekend I got to re-connect with my previous wedding clients, Julia and Andy. Since I last saw them they have welcomed a beautiful little boy into their family. Ben is an adorably happy baby, he melts my heart every time he flashes his dimples and two tiny baby teeth. I had a wonderful time working again with my clients and their new little family.
